Big Jim March 9th
This basket is bigger than a bushel! It's great! The base and sides are done in a simple 2 by 2 twill and you can weave the dyed reed in where ever you want it.
It measures 18 inches in diameter and 12 inches high not including the handles.
You will learn to make handles and wrap them. You most likely will NOT finish this in class. You will get to the top and then wrap one handle and take it home to finish the other handle and lashing the rim.

Emma's Work Basket April 27th
This is woven on an oak base with an attached handle/divider. It's a great basket with many uses.
You can chose your colors of reed in class and make this as crazy or a mellow as you like! The frilly sea grass is optional.
